When consulting the I Ching, one sometimes encounters lines that are described as moving, or changing. These lines become their opposite–a solid becomes broken, or vice versa–and in addition to the initial hexagram, there is a second hexagram to be considered after the changing lines have flipped.
There are many possibilities to choose from when translating the specific hexagrams. I went with “revolution” and “waiting,” because together they evoke the expansive-but-humble life cycle of a pollen grain.
